EPOCH Chemotherapy
Epoch chemotherapy has been claimed to be useful in treating conditions where the tumors and malignancies are complicated by other health conditions. A couple examples where the Epoch treatment may be used are shown below.
This is a combination of drugs that are given in the form of chemotherapy . This usually involves a blend of very toxic drugs . These drugs are listed below:
- Etoposide
- prednisone
- cincristine
- cycolophosphamide
- doxorubicin.
This treatment is claimed to be effective with certain large tumors by maybe shrinking them so they can be removed more easily in surgery, or they say it may even kill the tumor. These drugs may be adjusted to apply to the type of cancer cells it is attacking you and the location of your cancer.
Many cancers will start anywhere in the body then end up in the lymph nodes. One of these cancers is large cell lymphoma. The cancer causes damage to the lymph nodes and this damage can be so severe that the only mecical option is to remove them. But sometimes, if it is caught early enough, they will use Epoch chemotherapy, hopefully saving the lymph nodes and hope for fast recovery. There are many alternative methods that can be used to heal your lymph glands, why poison you entire body?
Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, or NHL is another type of cancer that they claim may benefit from this treatment. Your body normally has a strong immune system, but in this situation, the immune system has been affected, so much that the your body’s natural defenses are no longer able to work on their own. This is when a natural alternative method provides the nutition and natural methods to give your body what it needs to build up your immune system.
Chemo does not provide natural defenses that are able to offer any resistance at all to new cancer cells. There has been some testing that claim a large percentage of success in treating cancer cells in persons with HIV, despite the compromised immune system.
The medical community feels that the Epoch treatment will provide new hope for those who have little or no chance of avoiding surgery. There are some situations where it has been helpful dealing with patients who already have complicated health issues and can’t receive the traditional chemotherapy.
They will continue to find other ways of using this drug as well because the more they use it, the more money for that drug company and kickbacks for the doctors.
